Daniel 2:49

SV	Toen verzocht Daniel van den koning; en hij stelde Sadrach, Mesach en Abed-nego over de bediening van het landschap van Babel; maar Daniel [bleef] aan de poort des konings.
WLC	וְדָנִיֵּאל֙ בְּעָ֣א מִן־מַלְכָּ֔א וּמַנִּ֗י עַ֤ל עֲבִֽידְתָּא֙ דִּ֚י מְדִינַ֣ת בָּבֶ֔ל לְשַׁדְרַ֥ךְ מֵישַׁ֖ךְ וַעֲבֵ֣ד נְגֹ֑ו וְדָנִיֵּ֖אל בִּתְרַ֥ע מַלְכָּֽא׃ פ
Trans.	wəḏānîyē’l bə‘ā’ min-maləkā’ ûmannî ‘al ‘ăḇîḏətā’ dî məḏînaṯ bāḇel ləšaḏəraḵə mêšaḵə w^a‘ăḇēḏ nəḡwō wəḏānîyē’l biṯər^a‘ maləkā’:

AC	מט ודניאל בעא מן מלכא ומני על עבידתא די מדינת בבל לשדרך מישך ועבד נגו ודניאל בתרע מלכא {פ}
ASV	And Daniel requested of the king, and he appointed Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, over the affairs of the province of Babylon: but Daniel was in the gate of the king.
BE	And at Daniel's request, the king gave Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego authority over the business of the land of Babylon: but Daniel was kept near the king's person.
Darby	And Daniel requested of the king, and he appointed Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego over the administration of the province of Babylon. And Daniel was in the gate of the king.
